I’m sorry if you’re a professional athlete of any kind and you think recreational drugs are ok then you’re a fucking idiot. You should be sacked or at least suspended for a serious amount of time end of conversation. Seriously what is it with people and white powder?! If you need cocaine to have a good time then you, are a loser and should really think about where you’re at in life. And yet, time and time again we hear of people busted on the gear and then say, I’m so sorry I have mental health issues. I’ve seen middle aged men and women have their kids at a restaurant table to go with a ‘friend’ to the bathroom to rack up! Get a life! And now, more footballers out on the gear?! Jesus!
Right! Moving on to the nerds who think that the future of motor sport is electric vehicles, you can fuck off as well! 204,000 people were at race day for Bathurst this year and so to the nerds who don’t understand petrol engines stick to Ai bots and your mummy’s basement while the rest of us enjoy real racing.
After the One Nation campaign launch in Victoria is it any wonder One Nation has slipped in polling? The anti vax conspiracy theorists are not what people want to vote for and the latest polling in the Age confirms it. No doubt One Nation will ban the age from its next event but it’s time the orange army got real about what they’re doing and put away the trumpets.
Over in the US, Donald Trump, the man who has deliberately tanked global economies has now bought diesel off? Putin! And then once he bought the diesel off the Russians to appease voters in the upcoming US midterms what did he do? Suggest that Ukraine should get rid of Zelenskyy as leader. There would be those that agree given the Ukrainian leader hasn’t been able to end the war, but for Trump to suggest it is a bit of a stretch even for him.
Now I know the glory days of the NSL weren’t all rainbows and unicorns and some of the team supporters were absolute nutbags to deal with BUT! AAMI park hasn’t been full at all this A league season and on the night when South Melbourne play Melbourne Victory the place is packed! So! It is time for the A League to grow a pair of bollocks and bring back some of the old NSL pride to football in this country. If they don’t and if it’s left to the A league to develop teams and players it will die a slow death and football will be finished in this country.
And finally what a legend Kipchoge is. The man came to Melbourne to run the marathon and not only did he steal the hearts and minds of Aussie running fans but he broke the Melbourne record for the marathon. The pace that man can run at is ridiculous and Melbourne was very lucky to see the great man in full flight.

Well if anyone ever wanted a better example of how out of touch Labor are with small business then the recent credit card surcharge debacle is it. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! The Treasurer, Jim Chalmers decided the ATO were wrong to cut credit card payments and reinstated them until July 2027. Jim! Mate! You are the ATO! It’s your job to workout how they can bring in tax revenue! That Chalmers tried to play the hero on the ATO credit card payments issue is an even bigger joke than his recent budget! It’s now being suggested that if Albo doesn’t sack Jim then he’s out of a job. I still think both of those are unlikely but gees they’re hopeless!
New Greens leader David Shoebridge absolutely nailed it the other day when he said, instead of making businesses and the consumer pay the surcharges make the banks pay! Why wouldn’t we do that? Angus Taylor was scathing of Chalmers and said the ATO must continue to take credit cards permanently. It’s definitely rocky times for Chalmers.
Guess who’s back! Back again! Josh is back, tell a friend. Yes folks the former treasurer and life long liberal Josh Frydenberg is back! Not quite back in politics but he’s back with a new book that literally genius Gideon Haigh helped him write. Frydenberg has set tongues wagging as he’s suggesting he may not yet be done with politics. An interview in the Australian is suggesting this is a different Frydenberg and that he’s much more determined and focused to, dare I say it? Make Australia great again? Could the Libs parachute their golden child back in to lead the party to the promised land? I wouldn’t put it past them.
While the fate of Christa Pike remains unclear post surviving her execution, US boss of war, Pete Hegseth he plans to broadcast live the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist convicted in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people and injured more than 30 others. Hasan’s execution by military firing squad is scheduled for December 3, 2026. Live! Can you imagine? It’s staggering that a supposed fair and decent society could even contemplate such a thing. Hegseth he wants the live broadcast to make a point, but if it is broadcast then he will have made a point he didn’t mean to make.
And finally I’d urge anyone interested in why the Firmus IPO didn’t happen to read the Age article about it and who the main parties involved are. While it’s true the Ai financial universe is potentially a bubble the who’s who in the zoo of this whole idea with Firmus is also a factor. Firmus could still list on the NASDAQ and as an Aussie company we hope it all comes to fruition but it has some way to go and seems now, fairly unlikely to ever happen.
We leave you with yet another Albo foray into the world of social media and simply ask, what on earth is the PM’s marketing team actually doing? It’s just not funny to anyone.

With Sam Wood denied bail you could suggest Sammy could be facing possible attempted murder charges instead of domestic violence charges, but regardless of the charges guess which card his lawyer played yesterday? Mental health or in Sam’s case depression. Well! That’s ok then, let him go! If Sam has depression or mental health issues he’s not capable of any of the things he’s been accused of and has a get out of jail free card as he’s got depression. In reality? Sammy hasn’t even got the balls to wear the punishment, instead plays a card only the truly weak pull. Pathetic really.
Paul Edbrooke the Labor MP who was appointed minister for men and boys is now the police minister. Edbrooke who has no policing background and certainly no legal background is in charge of the police, that seems fine! With Edbrookes five minutes of experience in policing what does he tell Victoria Police to do? Ease up on young offenders! Yes while the streets of Melbourne are over run with crime and while machetes are still a fashion item Edbrooke says give the little pricks a chance. God I’ll be glad when these dickheads are out of office!
Ben ‘Mr Integrity’ Carroll was forced to make a hasty retreat from a local cafe yesterday as he was abused by a disgruntled Victorian. The abuse wasn’t that hostile rather it was pointing out the deficiencies in Labor…the lady who questioned Carroll wanted answers but Carroll bailed as quickly as the Road Runner once things got a bit too real for Benny.
Angus Taylor and Tony Abbott both agree that the Bondi massacre was the catalyst for the whole migration debate. Is Abbott the Libs version of Kevin Rudd? He sort of hangs around and does lots of talking and not much else, but on migration the old and the new think migration is a real vote winner. Will it be? Maybe, but there’s no doubt people are fed up and it’s time at least for a new direction.
Right wing social media personality and Karl Stefanovic’s only reporter Drew Pavalou has been punched in the guts in New York. Drew was at a Palestinian rally in the big apple to almost celebrate October 7th and didn’t like it when a Palestinian supporter belted him in the guts. Drew instantly retaliated belting his opponent in the face. Drew wants to be very careful about whacking people the US as it could go really badly for him, but it’s all good for the tabloids now isn’t it?
And finally the IPO for tech company Firmus looks set to be stopped later today. The valuation of the Aussie owned tech company was put at $40 billion post the IPO, but panic set in and no one would help. Given Firmus specialise in building data centres or at least keeping costs low on the ones being built is this an indicator the Ai bubble is about to burst?
We shall wait, but company that was going to be valued at about $40 billion looks in trouble!
Have a great day to all!

Jesus! If I hear one more media outlet, bureaucrat, corporate dickhead or so called influencer bitchs and moans about coffee prices going up because the hospitality industry doesn’t want to pay the credit card surcharges I’ll spew up! Every other industry in the world is facing the same issues with credit card surcharges and yet, the AFR, the ABC, the Guardian and anyone with an Instagram account is whinging about how greedy the hospitality industry is! My advice to the hospitality sector at large is ban the media from their venues, ban anyone that has a crack at them for sticking up prices and make sure Albo can only buy coffee at 7/11!
As I read various articles yesterday I came across one that suggested the once mighty Ayatollah of Victoria, Daniel Andrews is upset! Why is he upset? Well firstly he looks terrible so that might be one reason but the reported reason is that he’s upset his statue isn’t being made. Says a lot about the man really that he gets upset a statue of himself isn’t being made…
Speaking of getting upset, Melbourne people don’t!! In fact Melbourne is the friendliest city in the world. Yes folks from the organisations that said Anika Wells was an up and coming inspirational leader, that Albo was a good global citizen, that Melbourne was in the top five best cities in the world we now hear that Melbourne is the friendliest city in the world!! But we must be looking at this all wrong…,maybe machetes are a form of welcome? Maybe fire bombings are a sign of friendship? Graffiti unifying the art world, random stabbings a way to show you care and corruption a way to give back to the local community? Or maybe the powers that be just bought themselves more bullshit awards to try and justify their existence? What a joke.
Dave Hughes! The self proclaimed Albo critic has been banned from Liberal Party events because he’s been doing them for free. Dave doing gigs for free has drawn criticism from? An unnamed Labor MP who reported Dave’s freebies to the VEC. The issue is that it could be argued that Dave is offering professional services for free which could be deemed as a political donation. While Dave is quite funny the joke is really on labor with this one.
The significance of Chris Bowen falling asleep at his own pre Cop31 conference is actually quite profound. Why? Because while we should indeed look after the planet renewables are not fit for purpose and unless we start getting very real about what we’re doing with power prices in particular will ruin households. Bowen falling asleep is a sign we need to wake the fuck up and start saying enough is enough Australia!
A group of local Casey residents have taken the fixing of potholes into their own hands. The blokes had road safety in place, bags of concrete and other gear to fix a hole that was so big it was damaging cars and causing traffic hazards as drivers had to swerve around it. What would be nice is to see the plan of potholes listed to be fixed by Carroll, or is it just more bullshit from the Premier trying to hold on to his job?
And finally it’s being suggested online that some of the Pullman five won’t face any charges from what transpired in the hotel room. One player is now saying he wasn’t even in the room but didn’t get the opportunity to explain himself. Now while all this will no doubt change again before it ends the bottom line is what were they doing out that late and if they were in the room then they deserve everything they get.

Well is there life in the old Liberal Party yet? Cutting immigration to the bear bones and only bring in skilled migrants. Kind of makes sense really but not that Labor agrees.
Speaking of Labor could Jim Chalmers be about to get the boot? Labor opinion polls are tanking, no one believes Big Jim and it’s unlikely Albo will fall on his sword so? You’d think something needs to change in the Labor party room but hey, the arrogance of Labor knows no bounds.
Moving onto delusional half wits, the Greens! They have come up with a plan to feed everyone and to make life more equitable, communism! Yes folks the Greens want publicly funded supermarkets. Genius! Good grief who believes this crap and while the world is currently seeing the rise of a new generation of up and coming socialists/communists we need to remind them, it’s never worked EVER! But hey, good luck!
Have our delightful teen crims found a new way to piss us all off? While punishment for crime still seems a far off dream in Victoria the little cherubs who get bail at the drop of a hat seem to have taken to the idea that bringing the Monash freeway to a complete standstill is sick! A couple of teens running down the freeway the other day and yesterday a carload of little darlings forced off the road by tactical response officers. The traffic chaos was horrendous and while it’s virtually impossible to stop these little pricks getting on the freeway surely it’s time to build bigger prisons?!
The weakness of bail laws is not only restricted to teenagers. A 37 year old man was out on bail yesterday when he randomly stabbed a woman in the neck on a South Melbourne tram. Off his face, mental illness, drugs whatever maybe don’t give him bail this time?
Did anyone see Daniel Andrews lurking outside the Mornington Peninsula mansion he’s apparently holding up in? The man always looked like Lurch from the Addams family but now he looks like the ghost of Christmas past. Hunched over, looking gaunt, thin and unwell we can only hope he gets worse. The other question is though is where’s the wife?
The plague! The plague! Lockdown! Bring back masks and social distancing! Ugh. Shut up! There were reports yesterday that a case of the Pneumonic plague had been reported in Russia. While the case was looking like it was real Sky News out of the UK we’re actually the only ones to say, hey, this isn’t Covid 2.0! While the Russians will cover it up and the whole thing will keep mainstream media in a frenzy for a few weeks Sky were spot on when they said this is a known virus, there are antibiotics for it and it has practically zero chance of doing what Covid did…allegedly.
Sam Wood looks set to lose everything which is great news. His own company has ditched his name from the business he founded and he looks set to remain in jail until his possible bail hearing on Thursday. Now has anyone asked how Ben Cousins turned up on a male mental health charity instagram account after his antics?
Judith Lucy, one of Australia’s great comedians has announced on her social media page that she has breast cancer. The comedy legend of course turned it into something of a joke but we are all sending positive vibes to the great lady.
And finally my favourite author, Jeffrey Archer has passed away at the age of 86 after a short illness. Archer lived a life and was one of the great story tellers of his generation. My favourite book of his is the Fourth estate and favourite story about him was when he entertained guests at his home. Lord Archer welcomed the guests with a glass of champagne on arrival and made sure to tell each of them that they were drinking Krug, which is obviously incredibly pompous but an insight into the man. He could indeed be pompous but also a man of incredible wit, charm and entertainment. Time to read The fourth estate again.

I have zero interest in adding a gossip column to the Hoodies stable but how on earth does any man whack a woman? What kind of man tries to strangle a woman? And then, what kind of an organisation allows men convicted of domestic violence back into positions of influence? Sam Wood, who is apparently famous for being the bachelor and some health company has not been given bail based on his alleged domestic violence crimes. To be refused bail suggests things are worse than what the media is allowed to report but while everyone is entitled to the assumption of innocence things aren’t looking good for Sam. Before this whole thing goes go viral and the details emerge, if he is eventually found guilty, there are no excuses and no way back to public life, ever.
Oh One Nation what have you done? The campaign launch at Crown last week is going to come back to haunt the conspiracy theorist candidates and will unquestionably cost them seats in the November election. The big news out of the launch was the near hysterical announcement that should One Nation actually win Andrews and Allan would be arrested. While some of us think this isn’t a bad idea the idea of it is ludicrous. Both Ben Carroll and Jess Wilson yesterday came out and criticised One Nation for the threats to jail the two former premiers. While the Orange army weren’t terribly fussed about the criticisms they have undoubtedly lost some of the swinging voters. The swinging voters will now pass the threats off as delusional and for cheap political gain. A wasted opportunity for One Nation.
With One Nation now going completely rogue Ben Carroll saw the chance to ask Jess Wilson if she would do preference deals with the Orange army. Wilson has said before she wouldn’t do any kind of deal with One Nation so it’s an attempt at points scoring from Carroll but Carroll himself has said he’s not doing deals either. Asked if he’d do deals with the Greens to get into power Benny boy said? No deal! Now the greens aren’t going to deals with one nation but could there ever be a coming together of the Libs and the greens?
Elon Musk is back at the White House, this time he’s helping with war which is terrifying but musk has also said he’s very keen to rename Ai Si! But! Given Albo has obviously had some kind of influence over Ai content here in Australia we have a completely new name for Ai…it’s should be called? GIGO, garbage in and garbage out!
Speaking of garbage, Chris Bowen’s pre Cop31 conference that has cost Australian tax payers $20 million isn’t seeing too many world leaders attend. The lack of actual global leaders is so bad Bowen is now being accused of wasting tax payer money on an event no one wants to go to. Pauline Hanson has jumped at the chance to say she’d be cutting back on such ludicrous things in a cost of living crisis but does Bowen care? Ahhhhhhh no!
And finally former federal Liberal Party leader Susan Ley has made a return of sorts doing a brief interview. In her interview Ley has said under her leadership she wanted the Libs to be the sensible centre of politics and shift away from the Trump like leadership of Peter Dutton. Had the Libs not been a bunch of misogynistic dinosaurs Ley could’ve been much more successful but twas not to be and what do they have now? Another middle aged white man as leader…so much for equality.

Well even with a 40 year high in government spending Jim Chalmers is still pointing the finger to foreign influencers when it comes to Australia’s inflation rate. Last weeks announcement from the RBA to kick up rates again has seen Chalmers admit he understands how hard it is for some people at the moment, but basically he hasn’t got any money to offer those struggling…there’s no cash here! Here! There’s no cash! Jim though we think makes all this economics thing much too complicated, I mean look at Albo! He was out the other day, so happy with himself! Albo cut the banking surcharge and that despite banks making billions and small businesses struggling Albo put them in the gun and gave them zero options, except? Put their prices up! So we let the banks off the hook, have the customer pay more and the small business owner put their prices up so they can afford to wear another tax from Albo…you just hope people are awake to Albo’s crap!
Aussie comedian Dave Hughes has been a fierce critic of Albo but now Hughes has got himself a side kick in another Aussie comedian, Luke McGregor. McGregor isn’t quite as pointed in his criticisms as Hughes but is more along the lines of common sense, ie…data centres squeezing as much power out of us as they can only for household power prices to sky rocket. McGregor isn’t alone in saying large corporations are putting prices up to not only cover increased costs of doing business but also to maintain their margins! Heaven for bid and large bank or supermarket would lose money in a cost of living crisis! It’ll be interesting to see how McGregor goes being critical of government but I think he’ll be fine because the divide between the left and the right is getting closer. Closer because they’re actually united….in their dislike of Albo!
Have we hit peak right wing populism? After the One Nation campaign launch on Melbourne the other day you’d have to say there might be a few people starting to raise an eyebrow or two. The One Nation campaign launch was part MAGA promotion, part rock concert and part delusion. The launch was kind of like the poor persons version of a Trump rally and even suggested the arrest of Andrews and Allan, which is good in theory but really?
I’m not exactly sure what our intelligence agencies get up to on a day to day basis, but while I’m sure there’s lots we don’t know nor really want to know how was the pilot from the FlyDubai plane ever in Australia? Again, I’m sure our own 007’s are out doing what needs to be done, but aren’t we seeing too many failures when it comes to our intelligence services?
And finally today…Digger. For those of you that don’t know, Digger is the latest and perhaps most odd movie from the legendary Tom Cruise. Now I haven’t seen it yet, but to say it’s dividing the critics would be an understatement! The Times UK hated it, several online reviewers have loved it but it’s Tom Cruise! No he’s not jumping around in this one but regardless we have an obligation to watch every new movie from the man that brought back cinema in the post Covid era. When I do see it I’ll let you know what I thought…

Let’s make one thing clear to Victorians! The weather, is not Albo’s fault! Everything else? Is! We talk about Albo 2.0 in today’s edition of the Sunday Hoodies but we just wanted to give the poor bloke a bit of a break after what’s not been a good week for Albo. With interest rates up, inflation up, house prices tanking and the PM showing he knows absolutely nothing about small business is he in danger of losing his job? Read on dear friends and let’s see…
One thing that Albo will be happy about this week is that the G7 has decided to release 100 million barrels of oil that will help global supplies and possibly ease some of the pain at the pump. Some US social media influencers have been whinging about the cost of petrol but they haven’t seen what we’re paying! Based on AUD comparatively Americans are paying roughly $6 per gallon whereas her in Australia we are now paying approximately $11! Maybe Trump isn’t that bad after all? Thats a long bow to draw but it’s getting ridiculous in Australia that’s for sure!
Back in the land of Mr Integrity, Benny is short 20,000 new homes. Based on the bullshit, sorry promise, Labor announced they’re well short of the homes needed. So, what now? Oh I know! Tank the housing market, leave first home buyers with negative equity, cut back on working holiday visas and let in more refugees! Brilliant!
Despite not being allowed to attend the Sydney Swans Best and Fairest one of the Pullman five, Isaac Heeney has won the award to a standing ovation. The investigation into the whole Pullman saga is ongoing but regardless of outcome the fact remains that the players were in the room with women who were not their partners. There’s a lot to play out still with this but is Heeney as the best and fairest winner a role model to kids? Me thinks not.
Yesterday One Nation had their big party launch for the November state election. One Nation claim they had more than 1000 people turn up at Crown to welcome the candidates and Hanson herself. Despite all the razzle dazzle the big take away? Andrew’s and Allan will be in jail by Christmas…now there’s an election promise for you!
I had to ring my brother in law in the UK the other day to understand what on earth Manchester City have done! Basically and allegedly the owners of Man City have been declaring higher revenue so they could spend more money on players. The numbers are into the hundreds of millions and City have been found guilty of more than 100 charges which they have appealed but face a range of penalties. Penalties that include losing points, losing titles, being relegated to the championship, being suspended and having to off load major players like Erlin Haaland. If City do lose their appeal it could well be the end but given the money the Middle East spends in the UK PM Andy Burnham has suggested in not so many words there could be a way to save City, but time will tell.
And finally the state theatre is back open for business. After a major refit and renewal of internal seating etc the venue celebrated its new coat of paint on Friday and will begin performances again this week. A cultural soul for any city is vital and it’s good to have the old girl back.

As much as I do swear like it’s an Olympic sport I do at least try to avoid swearing in what I write, but I’m sorry today, all bets are off!
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK IS GOING ON?!!
Not only did the worst PM in Australian history, Albo, get an award for being a good global citizen, but now the utterly piss taking Anika Wells has been named by TIME magazine in the Top 100 of the Worlds most influential rising stars! How much lobbying did these cost the Australian tax payer? Lobbying for these ridiculous things is similar to how restaurants get in the world top 50 list, the more people you know, the more you suck up to the right people, guess what? You suddenly win awards! Leaving aside Albo being called a global citizen that Wells can be seen as a rising star is terrifying! It’s genuinely terrifying because it means someone can be judged an influential rising star after they’ve been proven to be a complete piss taker when it comes to tax payer money! And again how much bullshit lobbying did it take to get Wells her top 100 spot? Wells will no doubt get credit for the under 16 social media ban, but again to most it’s been a disaster! This is spin of the highest order and while Labor will be using it as diversionary tactic the reality is that house prices in Australia could fall so far the only comparable period of similar decline is the Great Depression! Enjoy those awards!
Yesterday we heard of how an Israeli plumber by the name of Yaniv Hayoun helped save several hundred people from certain death onboard flight FZ1073 to Tel Aviv. Hayoun is now a justified hero but it didn’t stop the ABC here in Australia posting the headline of;
‘What’s real and what’s fake online about the FlyDubai incident’
This headline went at the bottom of several articles covering the mid air incident and it makes you ask, would the ABC have published a similar headline and article had the hero plumber been a Palestinian? The bias, the disgusting insinuation from the ABC around misinformation off the back of several Jews being involved should be referred straight to the watchdog and the ABC publish a formal apology.
Jim Penman, the man who created a mobile empire across multiple industries, most notably, Jim’s Mowing has not held back when being critical of the Albanese government. Jim like many business owners can’t fathom the level of taxation in Australia and how much debt the country has. Maybe Albo could do a day on the tools to see how the other half live?
On October 1st Albo made it illegal for businesses to pass credit card surcharges onto their customers. The days of being ripped off, over charged and having to put up with small businesses passing bank fees onto the customer were Albo said with glee! But what if small businesses just put their prices up? How good is that for inflation now Albo? Dickhead.
The knock on of surcharges is that the ATO are stopping businesses putting payments on credit cards. Now yes you should pay your Tax bill with real money but credit cards can also be how some small businesses run their numbers, not any more though. As of November 1st credit cards are out and small businesses need to come up with a new way to pay their tax bills.
And finally Chris Fagan the legendary Brisbane coach has decided to give the lions coaching job away. I think many of us who were watching Fagan after the latest grand final win were thinking he might call time and now he has. Fagan retires a legend of the Lions and shows age is but a number. Enjoy that much deserved retirement Coach.

I’m Ben Carroll
I’m not Daniel Andrews
I’m not Jacinta Allan
I’m the Premier
I’m Mr Integrity
I’m calling Wharfie Time
I’m the Airport Rail Link Premier
…and I’ve held or pulled a beer in a pub
Struth! How busy has Benny Boy been?! And now he’s the Airport Rail Link Premier?! We’re impressed, but while Benny might be the rail link whatever neither he nor that bumbling idiot we have as PM could give an actual end date for the project. For more than 40 years politicians have stood on crappy old rail lines looking at the sky saying, the plane, the plane! They have all said that one day the airport will have a train station and none of them have delivered, but the airport rail premier says yes different! Victoria will have a train to the airport…one day, but we’ll come back to you on the date. I mean really, why does the media go along with this utter crap? Why not say…hey great to see you in Melbourne Albo, couple of things, why didn’t you ask Trump about his pissing contest in the Middle East that’s sticking up petrol prices here and secondly, are you for real with this whole rail thing? Because no one believes you or Mr What’s his name!
It’s all just such utter bullshit.
Speaking of utter bullshit, the Greens have a new leader and it’s not Mehreen Faruqui and guess what? While David Shoebridge won the leadership in a fair and proper ballot Mehreen has said the process is broken and that she’s experienced sexism and racism within the greens. Now the Greens are the party that says there are indeed 25 different genders and that everyone is welcome so we’d really like to hear specifics about her claim, but it appears the Greens have dodged a bullet from the nice lady from Pakistan.
Gees Albo wasn’t joking when he said he wanted all the Ai fakes of politicians taken down, mainly of him. The federal looks set to go after memes in an attempt their labelling as cleaning up misinformation, but I thought Albo did wear a bikini? Good god they’re muppets, seriously. Anyone that’s had even the most remote of opinion on social media knows that unless you’re going to unmask every single bot, nerd sitting in their mums basement or just hateful dickhead you’re never going to stop online criticism, but here’s Albo acting like a child…again.
Hey how much smarter are crooks than politicians? The state government has cracked down on illegal tobacco shops closing a number of them, but what do the illegal operators do? Sell their wares outside the hours the inspectors work! Hahahaha! Seriously cut the excise and get real!
It looks like the RBA aren’t the only ones telling the federal government to ease up on spending. NSW premier Chris Minns is now suggesting that government spending could well have a hand in the continuing rise in interest rates. Minns is a very well respected Labor Party MP and it will raise a few eyebrows a key player in the Labor machine has been openly critical of Albo.
In the wake of yet another interest rate hike the kind and caring folk at the big four banks have of course passed on the rate hike to their ‘customers’. Yeah ok we know that the big four are all public companies there to make money for shareholders and there’s no empathy in banking but really? That fast? Blood sucking parasites.
And finally as Donald Trump meets with many of the Ai tech nerd founders he’s decided he doesn’t want the new technology to be called Ai anymore. Nope, instead he wants to call it Si! Super intelligence! Could the man be anymore of a threat to humanity? We talk about Ai killing people and yet here we have Trump unable to end conflicts and more than capable to tanking global economics. Si? Serious ignorance might be a better name.

Well another Tuesday another interest rate rise and its still not Labor’s fault. While Bullock didn’t directly go after Albo and Chalmers she did bring the issue of inflation back to Australia. She said that while global influences were having an impact on inflation it was domestic spending and low productivity that were also key drivers of yet another rate hike. Both Bullock and Chalmers admitted they knew people would be hurting with rates now at a 15 year high, but unless Labor can reduce domestic spending rates will again go up and give Australians a Christmas to forget.
Back in the land of Mr Integrity ie Victoria, it would appear the rail link to Melbourne airport is about to get under way and that Doctors are about to go on strike over safety concerns. So on one hand we have billions more spent on infrastructure that right now we don’t need, but no money spent on medical professionals saying the system is broken. Common sense? Logic? Proper fiscal management? No on all fronts.
Mehreen Faruqi is quickly becoming the next possible leader of the federal greens and if you thought the Greens were an anti Israel but of left wing extremists before then wait til Mehreen takes over! I remember a time when the Greens were actually about environmental issues and genuinely made a difference but now they’re just a Labor supporting bunch of left wing extremists who do absolutely nothing to make a genuine difference in the country.
As I was reading through the papers and scrolling the news channels on my phone I saw Donald Trump holding a press conference flanked by Dario Amodei and the creepy nerdling, Mark Zuckerberg. They were with El Presidente to talk to Ai and that Trump now wants it referred to as Si, Super intelligence, but as Trump was having his love fest with the tech nerds Open Ai had announced it was hitting the pause button on rolling out new models of Ai. Why? Because it appears that while Ai sits above human intelligence its founders don’t want to be responsible for it taking over or destroying the world, Trump on the other hand…
There was a very odd case of terrorism in the UK the other day. Several men in white vans were caught near a temporary US military base. It mad headlines across the world and of course the media got behind it as a major terrorist event, but then it wasn’t? The men were indeed arrested by big blokes with bug guns but were then released on bail? None of the men involved were fitted with black bags and marched off to Belmarsh, where Julian Assange had been held nor were they put in military aircraft and sent to ADX Florence, instead, they were let go…it begs the question what actually happened and what defines a threat to national security these days?
In the last year the big five Ai companies have made less than $400 million globally. Now that’s n to bad money when you look at it, but when you take a deeper look at the real balance sheets of Ai companies they’re collectively on the hook for more than $3 trillion. How I hear you ask? Two words data centres. Investors from all over the world have been shelling out major coin to these Ai tech companies building the data centres they say they need to increase growth. But according to Big Short subject matter Michael J Burry what happens if Ai doesn’t get as big as some are suggesting it will? Well that’s why Burry is now looking at how he can make yet more money off the stupidity of investors and companies promising fields of gold. Burry is someone that knows a thing or two about poor investment decisions and planning given he got the 2008 GFC bang on, but if he is right this time you have to wonder will the US treasury be coming to the aid of Ai companies?
And finally who is actually going to perform at the NRL Grand Final this weekend? Tones & I cancelled because she oddly didn’t want to play her major hit so the NRL are keeping it a secret until the big day. Personally I think Cold Chisel should play at every NRL Grand Final but it remains to be seen who will be entertaining the crowd before the big game.

Well according to Ben Carroll it’s Wharfie Time when it comes to Labor making a comeback in the November state election! Did Benny not understand what happened to the Dockers after they called Wharfie Time? Yes we know what Ben is trying to say, but one has a feeling this one may come back to bite him on his delusional behind.
It’s not my fault! Such are the words that Jim Chalmers will be desperately wanting to say when Michelle ‘I stand with Julian Gerner’ Bullock kicks up interest rates again. Bullock who seemed for a while more like an actual human as opposed to her Bordeaux drinking predecessor has sadly become just another one of them with absolutely no idea how anyone making less than $250,000 a year could possibly cope! Rates will no doubt go up today with demands of unemployment to go up, for housing to become even more unaffordable and for yet more small businesses to fail. How dare we be aspirational in this country! The question thought will be, will Bullock call on the government to cut spending and increase productivity? If she does then perhaps we can have some faith in the RBA if she doesn’t then well, It’s Gerner time!
As we know any RBA rate hike is not the fault of the federal government it is of course the fault of the war in the Middle East. Who is keeping the war in the middle east going? Trump! And who did Albo just see in the US? Trump. So while Australia suffers through high petrol prices and the whims of a narcissist in Trump why didn’t Albo have anything to say to the President? Who knows, but what did we get instead of our PM sticking up for Aussies? A selfie of Albo and Trump. What a dickhead.
Unsurprisingly who is the preferred PM in Queensland now? You guessed it, Pauline Hanson. Yes the political veteran who has been pushing the same message for more than 30 years could well be our PM come the next election, well that’s if Queensland has anything to do with it.
Two things from the conspiracy theorist pages, the first is Karl Stefanovic. Now while Karl isn’t really a conspiracy theorist one of his recent guests sure as hell is in Pete Evans. The former chef, MKR judge and all round weirdo has popped up on Karl’s show to talk whole foods and how to get your head shaved to make you look completely nutbagish. What is Karl doing? Seriously not even Joe Rogan goes down the well of the conspiracy theorist every show but Karl is all in. The other conspiracy theory idea is that Albo’s Medicare Ai hack is a ploy to control the new technology and to control freedom of speech. Wha? Yeah as much as Albo is a donut do we really but this one? I’m not but while I’m not interested in controlling freedom of speech we do need to be very mindful of how Ai is being used.
And finally all bets and criticisms are off when some one is unwell. Greens leader Larissa Williams has resigned as leader of the party over health issues. If you’re toxic enough to want to know what she has Google it but we wish Ms Williams a speedy recovery and all the best.

When Michelle Bullock does a Julian Gerner and tells us on Tuesday morning we need to see higher unemployment and more pain in the economy as she sticks up interest rates I’ll spew up if Jim Chalmers says Labor are doing all they can to tame inflation! Chalmers has apparently managed to pull $6 out of the budget and will no doubt tell us in the post interest rate rise announcement that the deficit isn’t as bad as it was! And how much do we want to bet he says Labor inherited the deficit from the Libs! What a bunch of dickheads! As much as Gerner is an insufferable weasel we’d probably be better off having him as federal treasurer as at least he’s worked in the big wide world! Ugh!
Well as the dust settles on an epic grand final we can now reflect on the fact that Wharfie time was probably the reason Brisbane are now three time premiers. Stats, play movements, defences etc will no doubt show how Brisbane pulled the dockers apart in the last few minutes but when Wharfie time was heard Brisbane said no fucking way! In all my years of watching Grand finals I think the only other team that looked as devastated was Geelong when they lost to hawthorn with Ablett Senior winning the Norm Smith, Fremantle were gutted, but what a game.
Watching on channel 7 and as much as a few people disagreed with me I thought BT, Brayshaw, Hodge and Cornes were fantastic, especially Cornes who has been a revelation. It was a game for the ages and as much we’d all love to see Fagan go round again what better way to go out?!
One Nation. If the Libs have a do it yourself policy on election campaigns then One Nation seem to be the party that isn’t that fussed about candidates rather it’s about how much money they can get out of them. The Libs do indeed charge a fee to run for preselection but One Nation charge possible candidates twice, once for apply and then to actually run as a candidate. $5,600 being the amount of money you need to give them before you hit the campaign trail.
And speaking of One Nation we feel they’ve missed the mark when criticising Jane Hume. Hume appeared on Insiders to discuss energy policy. One Nation claimed Hume said the Libs wouldn’t cut net zero and that they wouldn’t be helping average Australians with energy prices. If you listen to Hume, she didn’t actually say that. What she said was the she acknowledged we need to be mindful of looking after the planet but that we did need energy prices down. It must be said she wasn’t terribly convincing but her message was absolutely manipulated by One Nation.
And finally Trump has decided not to accept the Iranian peace deal that would’ve got the Strait of Hormuz open and a ceasefire in bombing. Trump was Trump when talking about his decision but while our own Jim Chalmers is pointing the inflation finger at the US he’s not wrong about oil prices. You can’t help but ask what exactly does Trump get by having the Strait of Hormuz shut?!

Well like the Preliminary Final the Grand Final was a game for the ages that if you were a neutral observer you wish there didn’t have to be a loser. Sadly for Fremantle it was an utterly devastating loss handed to them by what is now one of the great AFL teams. To kick the day off was a performance from our Kylie, which it must be said was wrongly criticised by the good gossip and bullshit folk down at the Daily Mail Australia. Not five minutes after the game was over the Daily Mail had loaded their garbage trying to slot Kylie. But whatevs it was pretty clear the grotty little tabloid had got it wrong because Kylie was awesome!
Chris Fagan is now a three time premiership coach and as much as it seems he may now walk away from the Brisbane job he goes down as one of the great coaches. All we can say is well done Brisbane and it’s hard to believe we will ever hear Wharfie time again when the game seems won.
Hey, where’s Albo? He missed Kylie! Yes we all knew that the PM would miss the big dance of awkwardness with our Kylie but it could well be the case Albo would’ve rathered be at the grand final! See Albo has not had a great time in the US! Yes he got his little award of bullshit but he was pretty much ignored by Trump, had three men and a dog show up for his soulless and really quite badly written speech for the UN and had to tell everyone that Australia had been hacked by an Ai bot who didn’t want to do what it was told. Poor old Albo…
Speaking of Trump the man who looks like he’s got more shares in Ai companies than most, he’s knocked back a peace deal from Iran. For us it means petrol prices aren’t going down anytime soon and for the war itself it means Iran will hang in limbo until the US mid terms are over and then all bets are off.
Moving away from the political fire engulfing the world it would seem it’s only a matter of time before we see an end to the major department store. Myer recently posted its biggest loss ever and it appears David Jones is in a similar position. It’s such a tragedy that we may well see the end to both retailers as they’ve been with us for so long but such is the nature of modern retail. The other key factor is the cost of employing people nowadays. Yes people deserve to get paid what they’re worth but when you have wages combined with higher cost of goods, rents and lower customer numbers the maths don’t work like they used. It appears Michelle Bullock may get her wish after all!
And finally the Brazilian soccer team are in town for a couple of matches against the Socceroos, but the lads from Brazil haven’t covered themselves in glory. The Brazil team was given a welcome to country and traditional indigenous dance to which the lad replied with a few laughs. Now we all know the issues all this welcome to country stuff brings but imagine going to Brazil and laughing at God? You’d be chased out of the country! Here? Well we’re not sure what we should be standing up for!

Well good morning and welcome to the Hoodies Daily for Friday and happy grand final eve public holiday here in Victoria! Common sense has prevailed ladies and gentlemen as Lachie Neal is free to play in the big dance! It was ridiculous for the AFL tribunal to find him guilty and common sense was served when the appeals board said Lachie plays! There are some crying foul of the decision but if you think current disciplinary actions taken on by the AFL are fair and just, I’m sorry you’re kidding yourself. That Neal is playing suggests that the appeals board is on the side of the players, unlike the Tribunal.
It would appear that IBAC now has the powers it’s been wanting from the state government since 2012 but once again, let’s face facts we are unlikely ever to see Daniel Andrews in handcuffs.
So Albo’s mum had her Medicare card hacked. Oh no sorry wrong story! Medicare has been hacked by Ai and while there doesn’t seem to be much outrage especially from the US when do we see Sam Altman chucked in prison?! Let’s be clear we now have a piece of tech that can by pass human intervention and make decisions for itself? At the other end of the debate, where is Australia’s defence against these attacks or are we now too stupid to make security tough enough that Ai can’t get through?!
Hands up who wants a kiss and a hug! Ukraine president does and who did he get them from? Albo! Yes while Australia is facing another rate rise and while Australia is more divided than ever what does Albo do? Hands over $60 million to Zelenskyy to fight a war that seems to have no end. Does Albo care? Of course he does! He got an award for this crap! I wonder when he’ll he on the cover of TIME Magazine?!
In data released yesterday it appears that Michelle ‘I care less about the average punter than the muppet before me’ Bullock has got her wish with unemployment ticking up again. Bullock said recently we needed to see more people to lose their jobs and for poor people to suffer because he wasn’t going to carry the can for Albo being a dickhead! We may be paraphrasing there but hey, she got what she wanted
And finally it’s grand final day tomorrow and here’s hoping our Kylie gives a performance for the ages. The queen of pop is due to perform her hits on the big day and we wish her nothing but success! Let’s go Brisbane!
Enjoy the Grand Final, have a great Friday and we’ll see you on Sunday for the Sunday Hoodies!

Good grief if I see Albo taking selfies with one more world leader while he’s basically on a tax payer junket to show the world how delusional he is I’ll spew up! This latest selfie with Trump goes to the core of how weak Albo actually is. It’s all smiles with Trump who along with Albo’s Labor government has tanked petrol prices in Australia, and what does Mr ‘I grew up with a single mum on a council estate’ Albanese’ do? Nothing and has the audacity to do a selfie with the President! Unbelievable!
Albo is meeting after meeting with world leaders pretending to be this successful global leader when Australia is going to crap! Yes ok the debt Labor got was a direct result of how much of a muppet Morrison was during Covid, but Labor are into their second term and things are worse than ever! The Zelenskyy meeting is just a joke…interest rates are about to go up again and where’s Albo?
Back at home bikies, crooks, unions delegates, politicians, bureaucrats and anyone else that thinks they may have a few things in the closet they don’t necessarily want to share with the Royal commission have all been lawyering up! Why? Because the Royal Commission into the Big Build has just rolled into town its head, Chris Kourakis seems to not be taking any prisoners. Well, actually he might be taking prisoners, and we hope to ex premiers do indeed become prisoners! It remains to be seen what the Royal Commission does but it’s clear there are now a few nervous people out there. Jacinta Allan looks set to be called and we can only hope her memory holds out!
Now, look I know we all need to feel safe, loved and cared for at work nowadays, but are we really so soft we need to tell the media we felt harassed? The field umpire who got a spray from a pissed off James Sicily after Hawthorn lost one of the games of the year has told the media he felt harassed and nervous when Sicily gave him said spray. Really? Grow up mate. Our advice? Don’t be an umpire. Should’ve told Sicily to pull his head in, but instead it’s OMG you can’t talk to me like that. Good grief!
James Chessell the now former Editor in Chief of the AFR is heading to the Joe Aston media start up Rampart, to be its big cahuna. I’m sure James has seen the numbers and knows now what the plans are for the business but it’s a great coup for Rampart and Aston. What will the future hold? Not sure but having Chessell on board brings even more street cred to the ever growing media outlet.
As we’re talking about quality journalism Nick McKenzie has filed an intervention order against one of his key nemesis, Mick Gatto. Mick has never been a big fan of McKenzie and it’s alleged Mick has told him as much but not anymore. Mick isn’t allowed near the Age journalist and all we can say is god bless Nick McKenzie and his massive set of bollocks! I wonder how that AFL umpire would go in Nicks shoes?!
And finally who remembers that narcissistic patronising wanker and former Premier of WA, Mark McGowan?! Well guess what? He’s got himself a board position. Yes the man who created the video encouraging indigenous people to get vaccinated and who cut WA off from the rest of country is now on? Ready for it?? The board of seven west media. Yes folks another example of why we should never ever ever trust the media because look at who they have on their boards!

Hands up who’s looking forward to another interest rate rise next week? And where’s Albo? In the US pretending he’s a big boy playing with the big kids! It seems utterly laughable that Albo is fronting the UN asking for a temporary seat when most people over the age of 35 will tell you they’ve never seen Australia so divided!
While Albo is off at the UN trying to make friends the RBA are indeed about to raise rates and are now questioning whether it’s a good idea to be going so hard into Ai when the whole thing could be a bubble about to blow up the global economy. Now we know economics isn’t such a strong subject for Albo so we’ll keep it easy for the PM…no give anything to tech man who offers magic beans and golden goose, he big fat liar and steal from us!
Is the state government of Victoria liable for damage done to cars on our pot hole filled roads? It’s an interesting question and one that is about to be tested in court. Now many of us thought there should’ve been much better compensation for people during COVID when it came to the losses they had in their businesses but we all know how that went. So we’re not holding our breath on the pothole damage but Benny really needs the votes so maybe the he will foot the bill?
With Trump seemingly trying to avoid Albo it appears the media in the US have banned together to avoid Trump. CBS, ABC and even Fox have joined forces with the Trump banned CNN, MS Now and Politico and said they now won’t cover some of the White House media events. The interesting member of the newly formed support group is of course Fox who with the help of uncle Rupert was a key reason for Trump becoming president in the first place. Will Fox keep with the cool kids? Who knows but could Lachie be coming of age?
Now we of course know that petrol prices in Australia aren’t Jim Chalmers fault, he’s only the Treasurer, it’s not like he can influence government financial policy! Well while Jim is off being delusional petrol prices are not only up because of Jim and Trump but also because? It’s school holidays! Yes what better way to rip the average punter off with higher petrol prices in a cost of living crisis! Anytime you want to step in there Jim we’d be grateful! And besides former Sunrise host, David Koch is upset at Labor over their spending and no one wants to upset Kochie!
And finally with Nick Daicos winning the Brownlow we had a bit of fun on social media about the possibility of Nick coming second to Patrick Cripps and wow! We had more death threats than a certain Age journalist! But what’s better than not seeing Collingwood in the finals? Nothing! 🤣

Jesus, if I’d heard one more Hawthorn player say, Yeah all credit to Brisbane it was a great game…blah blah I’ll spew up! Stick it to them! Don’t be their mates! Hate them! Jesus! You lost on a bullshit free kick! Be angry! How did Tom Brady win seven Super Bowls? By being nice to his competitors? Fuck no! And they weren’t nice to him either! Ray Lewis wanted to kill Tom Brady! Literally! So much for being inspired by anger!
Leaving aside the anger of losing the Brownlow was another opportunity for a midfielder to win the games highest award and that’s what happened. Nick Daicos, the long time favourite to win the Brownlow finally pulled it off. You can’t deny son of guns talents and he’s a worthy winner but the days of anyone but a midfielder winning it are now over. Which makes me think how lucky I was to see the mighty Tony Lockett win it. Congratulations to the Daicos boy and his Dad who will no doubt be very proud today. Next year though will Nick be willing to pass off some of those possessions to Lachie? Time will tell.
As much as Hoodies is a news and media service we can barely raise any kind of interest in brining you yet another bunch of absolute bolox from Ben Carroll, but is bringing pubs back in the regions. Wow amazing, but we’re thinking he’ll be wanting them to have? Pokies! Labor aren’t short of a person or two with fairly serious poker machine empires, but maybe we’re just being cynical?
While Albo is boring everyone to death in the US showing everyone his Medicare card and telling them he grew up a council estate he’s actually there to receive a global citizen award! Some will say the criteria of the award are; bow to china, let them take over the country, allow in more migrants, spend tax payer money like it’s someone else’s and torch your country’s economy. Surely no one thinks Albo is doing a great job?! Do they? God help us!
While Albo is tanking in the polls One Nation are leading ahead especially on social media. Remember when Daniel Andrews had the; i stand with dans? It’s making a comeback of sorts. Andrews held court in a how important it was to socially distance, that we were selfish if we didn’t do what he said and that kids should not go to school. So while Andrew’s had his bot army paid for by the tax payers One Nation have got their own army funded by Albo’s dire incompetence. The lefty’s will tell us that Facebook is full of conspiracy theorists and that it’ll be different on election day, but at 27% of the primary vote for Labor and under 20% for the Libs, it’s beginning to look like One Nation’s to lose.
Here’s cheers to Nick Daicos and to Albo for winning his global citizen award, one of those I don’t really mean!

Good morning and welcome to the Hoodies Daily for Monday!
Did anyone see Albo’s touch down in the US? And then who his first meeting was with? So there was no welcome mat for Albo when he got to the US. Not long after he was photographed cutting a lonesome figure walking hand in pocket off the RAAF plane he was photographed with now former Apple Tim Cook. It was an odd meeting given Cook is no longer in the top job and also because, let’s face it Apple makes the products Albo isn’t a fan of. Apple’s B Team seemed happy to show how they’re trying their best to prevent kids from finding harmful content online and that they too are invested in kid safety when it comes to their products. Albo smiled like he was supposed to but didn’t get much more out of Apple. The biggest joke though is now that Albo wants a seat on the UN Security Council! With no one showing up to meet him at the airport it’s hard to imagine the UN will have any interest.
Ok so throwing bottles on the ground at the footy isn’t a great look but jesus the self righteous garbage being thrown out by the over offended make you wanna spew up! Who remembers when Warnie went down to Bay 13 to ask the crowd to calm down? A time when people weren’t quite so offended by pretty much everything! Don’t throw bottles kids, it bad make people sad because fake outrage will get you everywhere!
Speaking of getting offended Ed Sheeran has taken to stage on his world tour as a solo artist and ended up crying on stage over the whole Macklemore saga. Ed said he didn’t want the whole thing to become political and he’s sorry that people are dying blah blah…the lesson is next time Ed don’t hire anyone that’s going to base their act on the Palestinian cause if you really don’t want to become political! Will Ed now get cancelled by the lefty wokes and their cause? Maybe, maybe not but imagine going to a music concert or arts show and not being fed political spin, now that might actually be entertaining!
Ben Carroll is out and about again claiming to be different to Dan and Jacinta but is now saying he’ll lock rapists up for life if he’s elected! So you can pretty much write that one off because Ben has about as much chance of winning in November as my dog Goose, but god loves a trier! I wonder if Benny Boy will stay on as opposition leader after Labor gets hammered at the election?
And finally Lachie Neal! Suspended for the big dance. Neal was busted whacking a hawks player off the ball and given the AFL is more woke than the ABC the incident has seen Neal get a week. The Lions will now do everything to make sure Neal plays and no doubt head to court if necessary because even if he gets the week as a suspended sentence next year it’s Collingwood’s problem. Will he play? I think he will but after the year he’s had and the way in which he’s leaving the club is it sort of vicious justice? Who knows but LET LACHIE PLAY!

Well my goodness what a preliminary final that was! Hawthorn looked like they could bring the Brisbane rein to an end, but a yellow clad moron gave a free kick that will now go down in AFL history like the Maradona hand ball. Was it a free kick? Maybe maybe not but a ball up would’ve been fairer in that situation to take umpiring out of the last 30 seconds, but our friend in yellow had his moment in the sun! And to whoever threw the plastic cup at the umpires, that was disgraceful! Use the off season and learn how to aim better! A Freo v Brisbane Grand Final and we’re tipping Brisbane in absolute white wash!
Speaking of morons and we’ve never really had a crack at the RBA for being morons, but late last week we heard the RBA say they don’t model on government spending or reducing it. Yes the RBA can only deal with what it actually has in front of them but that they’re not looking at how much a reduction of government spending could have on inflation seems neglectful at best.
The other man, Alex Antic, who was once talked about becoming a member of the One Nation movement, the other one being Andrew Hastie, has become el Presidente of the Liberal party in South Australia. Antic has been far from a team player in his role for the Libs but now he has the chance to stamp his mark on the party that is struggling right across the country. Could Antic be the one to save the Libs? Maybe but I’m not sure the Libs are that smart.
Over in the US Trump has decided to ban, CNN, MS Now and Poltico media agencies from the White House. Now Trump is doing it because he doesn’t like answering hard questions and says the three agencies are guilty of pushing out fake news and yet Fox is still allowed in?
And finally Moira Deeming the former Liberal Party MP who is now leader of the Family First party was out and about today protesting against Trans people being recognised as men. Moira has been wrong about a bit during her time in office but on this one she is spot on.
